By chance I had a backup of all of the files in my C drive and I restored it back. Here is simple solution if you come across to error.

a) First download this file and extract it using Winrar.

b) Now copy the Adobe Version Cue CS3 folder and paste it in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe

c) Now restart your PC and you are done !

Thank you so much. I tried SO many things to get this to work on my Vista computer and this was the only thing that worked. I can now get that work done by my deadline. You are a life saver!!!

Thanks a thousand times – I also had this problem that my version cue was somehow damaged, but I also couldn’t uninstall PS properly (using no deinstaller whatsoever, app obviously messed itself up) and was stuck with a damaged program.

However, after replaceing my version cue folder with the one you provided, all of a sudden everything was back to normal again so you’re officially my hero now for at least one month.

Again, thanks heaps!

FYI – You can also use WinRAR instead of Winrar. You can download WinRAR free at: http://download.cnet.com/3001-2250_4-10007677.html?spi=67b797d76baf32b9b619588819c5152b.

Thanks again!
