Short Term Visitors Can Hamper Your Blog/Site Google Trust

google-trustThe main factor that helps you getting on Google’s first page is Google Trust. It means that Google keeps those websites above in which they have more trust.

Google thinks that the content on those trusted sites is genuine. So, in order to get to the first of page of Google, its good to gain Google Trust. One of the important factor that Google lay emphasis is the short term visitors.

If there are majority of short term visitors on your blog, Google might think that the content on your site is inappropriate. So, below are some tips with which you can keep your visitors on your page for a long time.

1. Friendly layout : Always use simple and good looking designs, simple designs looks neat. Here are few tips you should follow before choosing a theme for your blog.

2. Interlink of post : While writing articles, always include links to your old post. In this way your visitor will move from one page to another rather than pressing Ctrl+W

3. Use related post plugin : To keep your visitors on your site/blog for a long time, its recommended to use a related post plugin.

    I never thought about this point.In short you mean to say that ‘blog for the readers instead of search engine’.
    You are right in saying that we should think like a reader instead of blogger and keep their interest in the blog.

    I partially agree with your views. Avoiding short term visitors is almost an impossible task especially especially if your using social bookmarking sites like Digg & Stumbleupon. All of our posts may not get the same treatment from these sites. So,the number of visitors from these sites keep varying depending on the quality and the interest of the readers. What do you say ?

    My homepage having thousands of backlinks just got PR1, whereas
    pages like (contact, useful links, etc.) with not a single backlink got PR3.
