How To Run Spell Check While Writing Post Title

Wordpress/Blogger does not give any option to run spell check on post title. Sometimes it happens that we are not able to detect a spelling mistake after reading the title 4-5 times. It shows our carelessness and creates a bad impression on readers. So, here is a simple tutorial which will help you in runnig spell check on very post title that you write. Lets start :

Requirements

This tutorial works on Mozilla Firefox, so you should have it installed in your system.

Tutorial

Open Firefox and at the top click on Tools and select Options.

Go to Advanced tab and put a tick on Check my spelling as I type and click on Ok.

Now comes the tricky part. In the address bar type about:config and hit enter.

In the search box type spellcheck and hit Enter.

Now right click on layout.spellcheckDefault and select Modify.

Replace the value from 1 to 2 and click Ok.

Restart your browser and you are done. From now, spell check is activated on every text box you write. Firefox will show a red color line under every misspelled word.

@ Simran – Don’t you use Windows Live Writer ?
People who use WLW have no thoughts of Spelling & Grammar Errors :p
