stumbleupon logoYou all might have heard and used StumbleUpon, discover your web. After installing the toolbar in Mozilla Firefox, we can see the list of email ids of all of our friends that we have added on SU. In this tutorial, I am going to tell you how to take backup of those emails.

Have a look

all emails

Lets start

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

If you have made any profile in Firefox then you will see different folders with the same name as your profile name. Open the folder where you have installed the SU toolbar. In this folder, search for prefs.js and open it with Notepad or Wordpad or any other text editor.

Search for the keyword stumble, and you will see the whole list of email of your friends. In this way, you can take backup of your friend list.

Troubleshoot

I was getting a lot of emails about thia tutorial that they are not able to find the Applkcation Data folder. It is a hidden folder and you have to make some changes in the Windows settings. At the top go to Tools >>  Folder Options.

In the View tab, select Show hidden files and folders and click Apply and Ok.
