Twitter can be a great platform to promote your blog and related stuff but you need understand its basic etiquette follow simple methods that are described below to get maximum results from your tweets.

Basics

Twitter is fairly simple to use create account which hardly takes a minute or two and then you are @your homepage which may appear blank initially. Now you may not find many of your friends on twitter but there are millions of people tweeting and they could be your potential readers. Start off by following people you know and slowly penetrate into the world of unknown people. Better create two accounts one for your blog promotion and other for your personal you may feel this a little awkward but its killer tip.

The More the Merrier 

The more followers you have the more quickly you can spread the information so keep track of your following. Begin with following people in return they may follow your updates I mean to say if Mr X has 2000 followers and you follow all people in Mr X’s followers list than in return you may get around 1000-1500 followers. The reason for all this efforts can be explained in this manner suppose you have around 1500 followers and you tweet a link to your blog ,it appears on homepage of your 1500 Tweepies , so you may get good amount of traffic but it depends on many things and factors but it brings guarantied traffic.

Out of Ideas??

 With twitter you can never run out ideas for your blog posts with nearly every web service has a twitter account follow all those and you will updated with latest trends and resources every time you login.

To begin with you can follow all people and services in my following list also whenever you need some information about certain topic just write #(keywords) and tweet it or search it and you get a list of tweets with that topic and you get few links for sure..
