thanks.this idea of yours worked out.I downloaded the unlocker software and i could format the drive.it was quick and easy.thanks for sharing the idea.

i tried to these steps but after running unlocker still the same message appears. i need to kill the process or clicking the unlock button. please reply soon i need to format my drive.

Same problem happened with my FlashDrive as well. I already have Unlocker and it did not work. I just went to ‘MyComputer’ – Manage – Diskmanagement – and from there formatted my FlashDrive. It worked like a charm.
