Here is a small yet useful application for webmasters called TinySiteWatcher that is used for monitoring the status of any website or computer on your network. It can easily manage and monitor your website status. Install this application and it will let you know visually, audibly and also sends you an email telling about your site status.
The free version has following three limitations
- Monitors a single website
- Check by issuing a TCP/IP PING
- Alert by playing a user specified sound file (mp3 / wav)
